Elm Class at Chilmark Fonthill Bishop CofE Primary had an exciting start to Advent when the Polar Express arrived.
Mrs Hale, class teacher, asked the children to come dressed in their bedtime clothes to launch the start of their new literacy topic. When the children arrived, they queued for their tickets and entered the classroom, which had been transformed much to their surprise.
After a morning of maths and literacy Mrs Hale, the conductor, and Mrs Farrant, the engine driver, served the children with hot chocolate and a biscuit as they enjoyed watching the film.
Everyone agreed it was an amazing day and are looking forward to more festivities before the end of term.
