As part of their topic on Space Dinton Primary School pupils took part in a fun space day last week. Dressing up for the occasion, Robins and Puffins classes were soon full of astronauts, scientists, stars, planets and even some friendly aliens. The children took part in a variety of space-related activities, including making models, to explore the earth’s orbit of the sun, creating porthole pictures, going on a space treasure hunt in the school grounds, solving codes and baking tasty space buns.
