After weeks of practice by the staff and pupils of Wylye Valley C of E Primary School, their efforts were combined with the pupils at home into one dance video.

Professional dancer and honorary dance teacher at the school Charlotte Lloyd has been teaching children and staff a few groovy dance moves with an online dance tutorial so that parents and children still at home could join in.

After three weeks, once everyone had learned their moves, Charlotte videoed each participant – including all the staff and head teacher Robert Barnes. Some parents sent in their children’s routines from home and then all the clips were edited by Charlotte and put together into one musical dance video.

Rob recorded a brief introduction to the video and the link was posted onto the Wylye Valley C of E Primary School’s Facebook page (https://vimeo.com/435031284). It is also available to view on the school’s website page under ‘News’ (wylyevalleyschool.co.uk).

Lynn Paul, Franklin Class teacher said: “Charlotte, an ex-pupil, worked really hard putting the dance and video together.  The children absolutely loved working with her and thoroughly enjoyed learning their dance moves.”

“It was great to see the whole school, including those at home, coming together through this amazing dance project’ added music teacher Helen Thornton. “We all had a fabulous time.”
