Saturday October 12 is Salisbury Cathedral’s launch date for its annual round of chorister recruitment with the Be a Chorister for a Day event.
Open to youngsters from school Years 2, 3 and 4, this is a chance to get a flavour of what it is like to be a part of the Cathedral choir. If you are a teacher and you spotted a talent or a parent with a child who loves to sing, put the date in your diary.
Be a Chorister for a Day is a fun experience, with singing and a chance to get to know current choristers. Youngsters will rehearse with our choristers and sing Evensong alongside them.
There’s also a chance for parents and children alike to explore the cathedral building between 1pm and 6pm.
