Nigel Farage said “The Reform Party has been successfully registered with the Electoral Commission and candidates will be standing in the local May elections, 2021.

We have a huge opportunity as a post Brexit nation to incentivise the self-employed, entrepeneurs and small businesses. Faster growth for all will be through reform of unnecessary regulation.

Reform is needed on the economy. Wasteful government spending in the BBC, the Civil Service and the House of Lords is in need of reform. Planning laws which ignore local concerns. need reform. Above all, local services must run well and reform is much needed.”

Here in Harnham, we have evidence of chaotic building projects that will add 2,000 cars to the roads. Local opinion on the need for infrastructure, has been ignored for a very long time.

Reform is needed on the planning of an 800-house development. Harnham cannot cope with a huge increase of cars or houses. It goes against Wiltshire’s own Green policy. There is no Harnham traffic plan. There has to be a limit to Harnham’s capacity to cope, without sanctimonious lectures from the other parties. Their committee meetings to by-pass local objections have been very quietly arranged.

May I encourage people to stand with me for our needs locally, and let government know we are loyal to the country in doing so?

Frances Howard Candidate for the Reform Party.
