This year, the flower arrangers at the Salisbury Cathedral have been unable to produce their usual stunning flower displays. Salisbury Cathedral is suffering from fewer visitors, so Roslyn Peace thought it would be nice to produce wreaths to sell and raise funds for the cathedral.

“We are a close-knit team of about 32 and we are passionate about flower-arranging for the Cathedral. I hate seeing it suffer from lack of funds so had this idea a month ago to make wreaths,” Roslyn told New Valley News. “Everyone jumped at the idea. I provided everyone with wreath bases and each person creates their own design from the berries and cones they find in their gardens and local areas.”

The wreaths were on sale on the Cathedral website from last Thursday, November 19. Visit the website to pre-order/order a wreath (£25 each). The last day the wreaths are on sale is December 1.

Customers can collect their wreaths from the South Cloister between 12:00 and 14:00 on December 15.
