Police are appealing for witnesses after a boy was robbed at knife-point in Tidworth.

at about 4.30pm, Sunday, October 11, on a grassed area near a play park on Pennings Road.

The 12-year-old was threatened with a knife by what’s believed to be a group of youths who took his bag containing some money. Although shaken and upset, the boy was unharmed.

Det Con Caroline Biggs said: “This was a distressing incident for the boy and luckily he was unhurt. I can understand this type of incident will be of concern to the local community and I can assure everyone in the town that we are doing everything to find these suspects.

“The area it happened in is next to a busy road so I believe someone would have seen or heard something – especially as it was still daylight.
