Students from Stagecoach Performing Arts Salisbury and Amesbury have produced a film to support Salisbury District Hospital.

‘Stay Safe With Three Simple Rules’ was filmed in the Cathedral Close and is being used to demonstrate to hospital staff and the public how to stay safe with handwashing, wearing face masks or coverings, and maintaining safe distancing.

Kristie Grant, Stagecoach Principal, said: “Our students had a fantastic time performing in the film. We are over the moon to have been given this unique opportunity to support our community while also enabling our students to do what they love doing in a safe and controlled environment. We are very happy to help Salisbury District Hospital promote the message that everyone needs to be mindful and take care to do everything we can to stop the spread of the coronavirus.”

Speaking about the need to keep protecting each other to help stop the spread of COVID-19, Fiona Hyett, Deputy Director of Nursing at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We are pleased the children were so enthusiastic about taking part in this entertaining film with a serious message about COVID-19. It is very important for everyone to follow the guidelines on handwashing, wearing face masks or coverings, and maintaining safe distancing. The measures are for your safety and everyone else.”
