Pupils in Key Stage One at Leehurst Swan visited Winchester Science Centre. They explored the Space zone, where they trained to be astronauts and had a lesson in gravity. The abundance of activities and experiments for the children ranged from wave-makers to indoor racing tracks and slime-making. The planetarium captivated their imagination as they journeyed to the sun and all the planets.
The Winchester Science Centre was voted as ‘an excellent hands-on education destination for inquisitive minds’.
