A man and woman were seen to be having a verbal argument which turned into a physical altercation shortly after 8.30am yesterday morning, October 19, outside the Co-op in Portway, Old Sarum, Salisbury.

Police are appealing for witnesses.

The man is described as white, between 20 and 25 years old, wearing a dark T-shirt and jeans. He also had a stretching earring in his ear.

The woman is described as mixed-race, between 20 and 25 years old, wearing dark clothing.

Officers arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of drug driving. He was taken to custody at Gablecross Police Station and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
