Play areas at Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Churchill Gardens and Victoria Park, Salisbury re-open on Saturday, July 4, and the city council will sanitise them once a week on Monday mornings.

But the Covid-19 guidelines mut be respected.

The council advises: using play equipment at your own risk; maintain social distancing at all times and do not enter if social distancing can’t be maintained, and one family member only to accompany a child.

  • During busy periods, people should visit for no longer than 20 minutes.
  • Do not eat food in the play area or on any equipment.
  • Dispose of personal protection equipment and litter in a bin or take it with you.
  • Avoid touching your face.

Leave the equipment clean for the next person.
