Wiltshire and Dorset Deaf Association is offering Bite-sized Deaf Communication Skills training sessions online free.
Varying degrees of deafness impact on the daily lives of deaf and hard of hearing people. The training provides useful skills quickly mastered to begin communicating with deaf or deaf blind.
On completion, an individual certificate of achievement is issued and customer-facing groups and teams receive a, “We are Deaf Friendly” certificate for public display.
WDDA has temporarily moved all of their teaching online and the Bite-Sized Deaf Communication Skills Training can be done at home or place of work.
