The Castle Gate Retirement Living scheme developed in Salisbury by McCarthy and Stone will be opened by Economic Secretary to the Treasury, John Glen MP on Friday, September 4.

To mark the official opening of Castle Gate, Mr Glen will join McCarthy and Stone CEO, John Tonkiss, for a tour of the new development before meeting the first residents on Endless Street, next to McCarthy and Stone’s Monument Place Retirement Living Plus, currently under construction.

Representing two options to suit different needs and stages of retirement, Castle Gate was designed for retirees aged 60 and over, and Monument Place is specifically for those aged 70 and over.

Prices are from £280,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and from £399,000 for a two-bedroom apartment. One and two-bedroom apartments at Monument Place are from £270,000 and £320,000 respectively.

Customers can also choose from a range of flexible solutions to suit them and their circumstances, whether to rent at Castle Gate or Monument Place, or to take advantage of a part buy-part rent option.

Castle Gate and Monument Place developments are open for appointment only viewings, with appropriate safety checks.
