Warminster Town Council is being consulted on the planning application for the Folly Farm site new housing. Access to the new housing would be from the existing Redrow development site.

Town Councillors met Redrow’s agents to discuss the plans, and councillors have found nothing in the planning application that would prevent this extension of the existing site from going ahead. But they would like to hear public views about how the first Redrow site performed and whether any issues should be considered for phase 2.

A special meeting is on Monday, November 11, at 6pm, at the Civic Centre in Warminster. Councillors would welcome residents’ feedback at this meeting, especially those from St Andrews, Broxburn and Thornhill.

A meeting of the Town Councils Planning Advisory Committee is at 7pm in the same location. Town councillors will pass on their comments about the application to Wiltshire Council.

Full details of the planning application can be found on the Wiltshire Council Website http://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/ by searching for planning application number 19/09428/FUL.
