A popular window cleaner ended up in hospital for a week when he plunged 15ft off a roof.

Yesterday his devoted wife Julia said he had to stay in hospital for a week after slipping off a customer’s roof.
“He went to hospital and had to have surgery. He hopes to be back at work in a couple of months. He is recovering now,” she said.
