Police are investigating an unprovoked assault in Endless Street, Salisbury, yesterday, March 25 about 4.45pm. A man in his 30s was crossing the road when a man got out of his car and verbally abused him.
He then punched him to the face, knocking him to the ground making his nose and lip bleed.
PC Ben Dooley said: “This was a nasty unprovoked assault. From speaking with the victim, we understand a number of witnesses saw the incident, who helped provide first aid. I would like specifically these individuals to get in contact as they may have information which could help our investigation.”
