Online projects to assist with home-learning and helping younger children understand how they can stay safe at home during the coronavirus pandemic have been launched by Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Education Team.

Each week, a new fire safety topic, based on a story which children can listen to alongside activities, includes work and colouring sheets and “Meet the Firefighter” challenges plus “Glue and Make” videos.

The Mini Superheroes show how they can be superheroes.

The resources are free and designed to cover all areas of the children’s school curriculum including maths, literacy, and art. They can be found at https://www.dwfire.org.uk/education/
