At Cats Protection, we have had to take measures to protect ourselves and to curtail the movement of cats for adoption or coming into us. Head office has been fielding our calls, endeavouring to provide a limited service.

Our education team has been working hard to create downloadable home packs so that we can keep on delivering our CP message in the current situation. They are fun, interactive and educational for children to do at home, either on their own, or with parents. There are five packs each based on one of the welfare needs and they have been made for two age groups: 5-7 years and 8-11 years, so lots to choose and learn from.

Downton Cuckoo Fair, Dogs Trust Fun Day and Amesbury Carnival have all been cancelled with our city centre collection and charity stall events. Many thanks to those continuing to put unwanted cat food into our baskets in Tesco Southampton Road, Pets at Home and Mole Valley, and at Avon Lodge Vets in Amesbury.

For the warmer weather coming up, can you ensure you have an adequate supply of flea prevention treatment, a real nightmare if they start appearing.
