At 7pm on Saturday, March 25, Trowbridge Town Hall will be hosting yet another of its popular cultural evenings, combining thought-provoking talk with exceptional food and musical delights.

The Spring Forward event, on the eve of British Summer Time, will centre around two inspirational women.

Firstly, renowned Bristol-based chef and forager Elise Briccolani will create a menu from ingredients, many of which will have been foraged from the local countryside. Almost magically, her dishes combine textures and tastes that leave the tongue tingling and the body revived. For food lovers, hers is a culinary art that just has to be experienced.

Appropriately, the entertainment will be provided by Rose Music and her band. Rose combines reggae-blues rhythms with smoky vocals – the perfect accompaniment to Elise’s unique food. Since releasing her first EP, Solar Sounds, recorded in a greenhouse using solar energy, Rose has been performing and collaborating not only in her home city of London, but also throughout Europe, and across the Atlantic in Brazil, Ecuador, as well as the birthplace of jazz, New Orleans.

Rose will also talk about her experience as a member of Grow Heathrow, a community garden that was set up to support opposition to the proposed third runway.
