Salisbury’s first Teenage Market this year on Saturday, April 4, from 10am until 3pm in  Guildhall Square.

The market is a free platform for young entrepreneurs under 21 to air their business ideas and talent.

A council spokesperson said: “The council provides gazebos, tables and insurances for young stallholders to gain business experience and display their talents, with live music from local acts, including singers Daisy-Mai and Becca Maule, performances from dancers at Starkest Performing Arts School and Panthera Dance Company throughout the day. The young local entrepreneurs also sell homemade cakes and sweets, paintings, handmade jewellery, ceramics and garden items. The market is an excellent first opportunity for traders, and some who attended previous markets have gone on to become established business owners and market traders in the county and further afield.

Salisbury Teenage Market is open on Saturday, April 4, Saturday, August 22, and Saturday, October 10.
