Gillingham & Shaftesbury Agricultural Society has cancelled its 2020 show due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Show, scheduled for August 19, faced uncertainty about mass gatherings and the society felt it could not successfully introduce social distancing and did not want to take away from the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The number one priority was the safety of stewards, staff, competitors and public.
The show team will contact all who have booked tickets, trade stands or sponsorship with more information about what the cancellation will mean for them.
