Local film-maker Carlton Brunton has launched a series of short films to showcase Salisbury’s businesses. Highlighting many of Salisbury’s independents, the series comes as non-essential shops re-open following the government lockdown.

Carlton, who runs Brunton Media, spent the past few weeks creating short films as part of his Showcase 2021 Project, with more in the pipeline. The showcase runs to 10 films.

Brunton Media created Showcase 2020 last year which featured Jas Hair, Casa Fina, Pritchett Butchers and Memory Opticians, among others.

Carlton said: “I’m launching Showcase 2021 to support local businesses. I’m passionate about Salisbury, where I live and work. I want to show local people places they might not already know about and give visitors reasons to return to our beautiful city, as soon as restrictions allow.”

The films are made at cost, on a not-for-profit basis. People can view the Showcase 2021 and 2020 films by visiting Brunton Media’s YouTube channel.

Carlton launched Brunton Media in 2017 and became a full-time filmmaker last year.
