Fabulous Company was created two years ago after Lizzie Tricks found it difficult to source gorgeous and unusual items to decorate the tables at her own party.
“London has a huge variety to choose from, but here in the Southwest there is very little choice,” Lizzie said.
“I have always had a love of glassware and candlesticks, and having lived in the Middle East for 20 years this developed my love of colour and textures further.
“I stock a variety of different coloured glasses that can be used for water or fun cocktails for up to 200 guests. I have a wide selection of candlesticks, candelabras, tea light holders as well as a selection of vases to decorate your tables. There are a variety of ranges and prices to match all pockets, and most tastes.
“Like so many businesses, COVID-19 has decimated the weddings and events industry, and as a small business owner with only two years of running, I have been one of those who have fallen between the cracks to receive government support. It’s been an absolute nightmare, as this year’s bookings would have seen me well on the way to breaking even after all the savings I had invested into my company.
“But not one to give up, I have diversified into creating small dinner party styling packages until things pick up. Now I supply everything, for up to 20 guests, the glasses, the plate, cutlery, vases, tablecloths and napkins.
“It’s a great solution for those who wish to have an intimate dinner party at home to celebrate an engagement, or perhaps a significant birthday party, anniversary and the smaller wedding celebration. I also work with several chefs who can create a special menu, so you can choose to have everything created. Perfect for those who wish to have something different and special for their celebration.
