Three city businesses teamed up to provide eco-friendly deliveries and cinnamon buns in Salisbury.

Blueberry Den, an eco-refill service, has taken on Benji from Co Delivery for carbon neutral distribution of Blueberry Den products during lockdown. Blueberry Den has various refill stations in the area where customers can take their containers to stock up on household essentials.

“Since people can’t get to the usual refill stations during lockdown, we have been very busy. It has been incredibly helpful to have Benji from Co Delivery covering the SP1 and SP2 postcodes,” said Celeste Skinner, owner of Blueberry Den.

Co Delivery uses a sustainable e-cargo bike to deliver products around the Salisbury area.

“I love Blueberry Den’s approach: they are pioneering the ‘circular economy’ in Salisbury. Zero-waste refills and zero-emission delivery are a perfect match, and we need much more of both if we are serious about reversing species extinction and combating climate change,” said Benji Goehl, founder of Co Delivery Salisbury.
Blueberry Den has also partnered with Stable and Wick Bakery, to take their baked goods to the city during lockdown three.

“A trip out to Downton might not be considered essential for most, but I have to go there to maintain the refill station at the bakery. When ordering your Blueberry Den products on our website, you can now add cinnamon buns, triple chocolate or salted caramel brownies to your order, which will be collected on the day of your delivery so they are fresh,” Celeste explained.

“We are so excited to be partnering with Blueberry Den. We love their products, ethos and what they are doing for the local community, and we are thrilled to bring a little sweet treat into the mix,” said Louisa, founder of Stable and Wick Bakery in Downton.
