Helen Lack has been hand-making jewellery and gifts from her cottage in Damerham for the past two years.
Silver and Birch was created out of a love of plants, flowers and nature.
“I learnt how to preserve flowers and started making them into jewellery. Everything I use is grown in my own garden so I know it is grown without any fertilisers,” said Helen.
Silver and Birch has a variety of prints, necklaces, earrings and other gifts on offer for a beautifully different Christmas present. While Helen is usually busy at Christmas markets at this time of the year, she has worked hard over lockdown to develop her online business.
“I have set up a new website, but Silver and Birch can also be found at Chalke House Emporium in Wilton, and the new jewellery shop Golden Snowdrop in Shaftesbury, which is really exciting.”
Helen promises some extra sparkle as Christmas approaches. “My jewellery tends to get more sparkly towards Christmas. I will be using flowers full of Christmas colours – perfect to wear with your winter wardrobe,” said Helen.
