Hayley Alton launched Dished by Hayley on October 24, serving platters of cheese, charcuterie, and viennoiserie.

“During the summer, I noticed a growing trend for grazing tables filled with cheese, meat, and fruit, and I thought ‘that is something I could do.’ It is really important to me that food looks beautiful and tastes incredible.” said Hayley.

The first product Hayley has created are cheese truffles made from goats, blue, and feta cheese.

“They offer a lighter after-dinner nibble than a full cheeseboard, all produced locally at my home in Wilton and delivered by me to you.”

Hayley’s innovative approach allows her to cater for socially- distanced events or small gatherings, creating pre-portioned boxes for covid-safe dining.

“With Christmas coming up, many families can’t mix households and be together this year. These cheese boxes are a great way to get together over Zoom, eating the same food, and having a good time,” Hayley added.

Hayley’s passion for food started after working as the café tutor at Alabare. Having moved from the vast food scene in London to Salisbury, she wanted to create a local business that would work in a smaller city.

“I love living in Salisbury and meeting people when I deliver. I hope to contribute to a more diverse business scene here.”
